China dominates clean tech manufacturing

 

China today completely dominates all the key technologies for a fast electrifying world. Whether it be solar panels, lithium batteries or the critical metals behind them, the world depends on China. In addition, there are critical components such as power electronics and let’s not forget electric vehicles that China also dominates…Europe and the US are far behind except in two technologies, hydrogen in the case of Europe and nuclear in the case of the US and both of these technologies are at best niche…The lesson is simple. Whoever controls the supply chain controls the future. And right now, that future is being built in China.
