Hystar has launched Orion, a 20 MW PEM #electrolyzer cluster designed for large-scale #hydrogen production.

Built on Hystar’s patented technology, the cluster is intended to deliver efficiency across the full operating range and consistent performance in demanding industrial environments. Each Orion cluster operates independently, which is designed to enhance plant flexibility and enable a wider turn-down range. Its skid-mounted configuration is intended to simplify transportation and installation, while built-in redundancy is designed to maximize uptime and operational availability.

“Orion will enable standardisation and accelerated deployment of large-scale green hydrogen projects,” said Fredrik Mowill, Chief Executive Officer of Hystar.

The launch builds on Hystar’s collaboration with McDermott International, Ltd to develop a turnkey 100 MW #greenhydrogen plant design, optimized for scalability, flexibility, safety, and cost efficiency. The integrated plant design is intended to offer customers a ready-to-deploy solution that reduces technical risk, simplifies procurement, and shortens time to market.
