Reverion Raises $175 Million to Expand Reversible #FuelCell Plant Production Tenfold
Reverion has closed a $175 million Series B funding round led by Kembara VC to scale its reversible solid oxide fuel cell power plants. The systems generate electricity from gas and can switch to #electrolysis mode to convert surplus power into storable gases.
The funding will support a new German production site with 250MW of annual manufacturing capacity and up to 800 jobs. Reverion plans to increase production tenfold and says its first pre-series units achieved 74.2% electrical efficiency in customer operations.
