The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) recently released the National Recommended Catalog of Energy-Saving and Carbon-Reducing Technologies and Equipment in the Industrial and Information Technology Field (2025 Edition). EVE Hydrogen's independently developed Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) water electrolysis hydrogen production technology successfully made it into this national-level catalog. This recognition validates the technology's advanced maturity and broad application prospects at the highest national level.

The Significance of National Recognition

The MIIT's National Recommended Catalog is an authoritative industry list designed to accelerate the promotion of technologically advanced and effective solutions for energy saving and carbon reduction. Inclusion in the catalog provides crucial technical support for the green and low-carbon transformation of the industrial sector.

EVE Hydrogen's AEM water electrolysis hydrogen production technology stood out among numerous submissions nationwide, receiving high recognition for its technical value and its potential for widespread adoption.

Core Technology Breakthrough: Alkymer® AEM

The core component supporting this achievement is EVE Hydrogen's proprietary Alkymer® Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) (W-series). This membrane material establishes core competitive advantages through its multi-scenario adaptability and superior performance.

In the core application field of water electrolysis hydrogen production, through optimizing the molecular structure of anion exchange resins for iterative upgrading, the W-75T membrane material achieves a cell voltage as low as 1.66 V under the conditions of 1M KOH, 60°C, and 1 A/cm² current density—approximately 70mV lower than that of the W-75 membrane material—marking a significant improvement in electrochemical performance. Meanwhile, the membrane material features excellent alkali resistance stability and mechanical strength, enabling long-term adaptation to harsh working conditions, thus providing core guarantees for the "low-consumption and high-efficiency" implementation of AEM hydrogen production technology. It has now been verified in scenarios such as industrial hydrogen production and university research, offering an "EVE solution" for energy conservation and carbon reduction in the green hydrogen industry.

Furthermore, the membrane material exhibits excellent alkali resistance stability and mechanical strength, ensuring long-term adaptation to challenging working conditions. This provides a core guarantee for the "low-consumption and high-efficiency" implementation of AEM hydrogen production technology. Having already been verified in scenarios such as industrial hydrogen production and university research, this technology offers a robust "EVE solution" for energy conservation and carbon reduction within the green hydrogen industry.

Driving Green Transformation

Successful inclusion in this national catalog is a key milestone reflecting EVE Hydrogen's commitment to technological innovation. It signifies that the company's AEM hydrogen production technology will now gain national promotional visibility, injecting strong impetus into the green transformation of the industry.

Moving forward, EVE Hydrogen will continue to champion the philosophy of "technology as the core, green empowerment." The company plans to increase R&D investment and deepen the innovative application of AEM technology across fields such as energy conservation, carbon reduction, and new energy coupling. By consistently converting technological advantages into industrial competitiveness, EVE Hydrogen aims to provide more efficient green hydrogen solutions for customers and contribute its strength toward achieving China's "Dual-Carbon" goals.
