Hydrogen energy is included in the "15th Five-Year Plan" of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China

On October 28, the "Proposal of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development" was officially released. One of the main goals of economic and social development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period of the Proposal is to make new and major progress in the construction of a beautiful China, to basically form a green production and lifestyle, achieve the goal of carbon peaking as scheduled, initially build a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient new energy system, continue to reduce the total emission of major pollutants, and continuously improve the stability of ecosystem diversity.

 

In terms of hydrogen energy, the "Proposal" mentions cultivating and expanding emerging industries and future industries. Strive to build emerging pillar industries. Implement industrial innovation projects, promote the construction of innovative facilities, technology research and development, and product iterative upgrading, and accelerate the development of strategic emerging industrial clusters such as new energy, new materials, aerospace, and low-altitude economy. Improve the industrial ecology, implement large-scale application demonstration actions of new technologies, new products and new scenarios, and accelerate the large-scale development of emerging industries. Forward-looking layout of future industries, explore multiple technical routes, typical application scenarios, feasible business models, and market supervision rules, and promote quantum technology, biomanufacturing, hydrogen and fusion energy, brain-computer interfaces, embodied intelligence, and sixth-generation mobile communications to become new economic growth points. Innovate regulatory methods, develop venture capital, and establish a future industrial investment growth and risk-sharing mechanism. Promote the development of small and medium-sized enterprises and cultivate unicorn enterprises.
