CATL Enters AEM Electrolyser Sector

On November 14, an ownership information shows that Ningbo Wending Investment became a major shareholder of Shanghai Phoenix Technology Co., Ltd (Shanghai Phoenix). Ningbo Wending Investment is the strategic investment platform of CATL, while Shanghai Phoenix Technology is a major AEM electrolyser innovator and manufacturer in China.

This investment indicates that CATL has entered AEM electrolyser sector, which may also suggest AEM electrolyser will transform from a niche product to a major player of water electrolysis market.
